Terms of Service

These terms are a placeholder. Final terms reviewed by counsel will replace this before public marketing launch.

1. Acceptance

By using pdfty.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Acceptable use

You may not use pdfty to:

• Process content you do not have rights to
• Process illegal content (CSAM, malware, etc.)
• Stress-test, scrape, or abuse our infrastructure
• Resell our service without an API agreement

3. Your content

You retain ownership of files you upload. We obtain only a temporary license to process them and produce outputs, after which they are deleted within 1 hour.

4. Service availability

We aim for 99.5% uptime but provide no guarantees. We may take the service down for maintenance with notice when possible.

5. Refunds

Pro subscriptions: 7-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked. After 7 days you can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the billing period.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can delete your account anytime from settings.

7. Liability

pdfty is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages. Total liability is capped at the amount you paid in the prior 12 months.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced via email and a notice on the site at least 30 days before taking effect.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where pdfty is registered (to be specified in the final policy).
