This is a simple electronic signature: the visual mark of your signature embedded into the document, which is what most everyday paperwork needs — rental agreements, permission slips, offer letters, internal approvals. It is not a cryptographic digital signature with a certificate; for documents that legally require qualified digital signatures, use a dedicated e-signing service. The signature is drawn into the page content with PyMuPDF, so it stays put in every viewer.
