A blank bingo card is one of the most useful things a teacher or a host can print. These sheets give you full 5x5 grids under the B I N G O header, with 24 empty squares and a free square in the middle, so you can fill them with vocabulary words, times tables, sight words, film cliches, baby shower guesses or anything else you are calling.

Two cards a page makes each square wide enough to write a short phrase in, which is what you want for word bingo or a party game. Four cards a page gives smaller squares that suit single words, letters or numbers, and keeps your copying bill down for a full class. A ruled topic line above each card gives you somewhere to write what the game is about before you hand it out.

Because every card on the page is identical and empty, you control who gets what: fill each card in a different order so the same list makes different boards, or hand them out blank and let players write the called items where they like, which is how picture bingo and prediction bingo usually work. The sheet has no form fields, so plan on a pen.

How to use it

  1. 1

    Choose two or four cards

Two large cards for words and phrases, four smaller cards for single words or numbers.

  2. 2

    Print one card per player

Print at 100%, then cut the cards apart. The topic line at the top is for the name of the game.

  3. 3

    Fill the squares

Write your 24 items in, in a different order on each card, or let the players fill their own cards from a list.

  4. 4

    Call and mark

Call items at random. The centre square is free, so a middle line needs only four marks.

No, both are blank and identical. What makes each player's card different is the order you write the items in.
