Most card and dice games come with a scorepad that ran out years ago. This sheet replaces all of them: a column for each player, a numbered row for each round, and a TOTAL row and a PLACE row ruled across the bottom. Choose four or six player columns and ten or twenty rounds, and the table is rebuilt to fill the page so the cells stay big enough to write three-digit scores in.

The header is the one part you can type. Game, date and the player name cells are form fields, so a group that plays the same game every week can fill those in once, save the file and print a stack of identical cards. Everything below is left clear for a pencil, which is how scores actually get written, crossed out and corrected during a game.

Under the table there is a line for the winner's name. Twenty rounds covers long games such as rummy or dominoes; ten rounds suits shorter card games and quiz nights, and nothing stops you finishing early and drawing a line under the last round you played. The design is plain grey rules and a lavender header, which prints clearly in black and white.

Only the header. Game, date and the player names are form fields; the score cells are not, because scores are written, changed and corrected faster with a pencil.
Any game that scores by rounds: rummy, hearts, dominoes, darts legs, pub quizzes, card nights and most family board games.
Print a second sheet and carry the running totals forward into round one, or use the TOTAL row of the first sheet as the opening score.
US Letter if you print in North America, A4 almost everywhere else. The layout is rebuilt for each size, so the sheet fills the page either way instead of leaving a white band down one edge.
Yes, typed field text prints like any other text. To fix it permanently before printing a batch, flatten the file with pdfty's Flatten PDF tool.
