The trouble with hangman on a scrap of paper is that nobody remembers which letters have been called. Each frame on this sheet has the whole alphabet printed in a box grid, so the caller crosses out each letter as it is guessed and both players can see at a glance what is left. Next to it is a row of eleven slots for the word, long enough for almost anything you would set.
On the left of every frame is the gallows, drawn ready for the body: post, beam and rope, with a note underneath reminding you that each wrong letter adds one part, head, body, two arms and two legs, so six misses end the round. A missed letters line under the alphabet gives you somewhere to list the wrong guesses in order if you prefer that to crossing them out.
Three frames a page gives roomy slots for long words; four frames a page squeezes in one more round. Each frame is numbered and boxed, so two players can work down the sheet taking turns to set the word. The page is plain black line work with no form fields, which keeps it cheap to print and easy to photocopy for a class or a holiday club.
