The sheet splits the end-of-year run into four stages: six weeks out, three weeks out, the week of, and the day itself. Thirty printed tasks sit inside them in the order they have to happen — budget and dates first, then the posting deadlines, then the shopping, the wrapping and the decorations, then the cooking timings and the table. Each stage ends with a blank line, so a family tradition that belongs to nobody else still gets written down.

The wording is deliberately neutral. It talks about a celebration, a festive meal, decorations, cards and gifts rather than assuming which holiday you keep, so the same sheet works for Christmas, Hanukkah, a winter solstice dinner, Thanksgiving or a New Year party. The only thing it assumes is that people are coming, food is involved and something has to be posted before a deadline you are already too close to.

Across the foot of the page, four columns run as working lists: gifts to buy, food and drink, decorations, and cards to send, with seventeen ruled lines each on US Letter, twenty on A4, and a checkbox on every one. The celebration, date, host and total budget go on the lines under the title. All of it is fillable, so you can type it up and reprint it when the plan changes. One page, US Letter or A4.
