How to delete pages from a PDF

Drop blank pages, outdated sections or pages you should not share before sending a PDF. You can delete one page or many at once, and Undo brings them back if needed.

Step by step

  1. Open the Pages tool

    Click Pages in the tool rail or press G.

  2. Select the pages

    Click a page, or tick the checkboxes on the thumbnails of every page you want to remove.

  3. Delete

    Click Delete and confirm. The pages disappear from the document.

  4. Undo if needed

    Changed your mind? Click Undo in the notice or press Ctrl/Cmd+Z.

Tips

  • Scroll through the thumbnails panel to spot blank or duplicate pages quickly.
  • Deleting a page also removes everything you added to it, such as text boxes and signatures.

Frequently asked questions

Can I delete several pages at once?

Yes. Tick the checkboxes on the thumbnails of all pages you want to remove, then click Delete.

Can I get a deleted page back?

Yes, with Undo, as long as you are still editing. After download the page is not in the new file, but your original file is unchanged.

Does deleting pages make the file smaller?

Usually yes, because the content of those pages is no longer included.
