How to rotate PDF pages

Scans often come out sideways or upside down. The Pages tool rotates individual pages or a whole selection in 90-degree steps, and the rotation is saved in the downloaded file.

Step by step

  1. Open the Pages tool

    Click Pages in the tool rail or press G.

  2. Select pages

    Click a page, or tick the checkboxes on several thumbnails to rotate them together.

  3. Rotate

    Click Rotate left or Rotate right until the pages are upright.

  4. Download

    Download the PDF to save the new orientation.

Tips

  • Each click rotates by 90 degrees. Click twice to turn a page upside down.
  • Undo (Ctrl/Cmd+Z) reverses a rotation instantly.

Frequently asked questions

Can I rotate just one page?

Yes. Select only that page before clicking Rotate.

Can I rotate all pages at once?

Yes. Tick the checkboxes on every thumbnail, then click Rotate left or Rotate right once.

Is the rotation permanent?

It is saved in the downloaded PDF. You can always rotate the page back later.
