Need a ruler right now? Print this page at 100% and cut out three rulers. The inch scale has marks every 1/16 inch with longer ticks at 1/8, 1/4 and 1/2; the centimeter scale has millimeter marks with half-centimeter ticks. Choose inches, centimeters, or both on opposite edges of each ruler.
Printers sometimes shrink pages to fit the margins, which makes a ruler wrong. That's why the page includes a 1-inch square and a 2 cm square: measure them with a real ruler or a credit card (85.6 mm wide) before you rely on the printout.
The rulers are 10 inches or 25 cm long and fit US Letter or A4.
