A columnar pad is the paper bookkeepers reach for when a ledger is the wrong shape and a spreadsheet is overkill. This sheet prints landscape with a narrow numbered column at the left, a wide description column, and then 4, 6 or 8 money columns. Each money column carries a light vertical rule near its right edge — the cents separator — so figures line up on the decimal without you drawing it in.
US Letter gives 29 numbered rows plus a total row at the bottom, set off by a heavier rule; A4 gives 28. The column headings at the top are form fields, as is the sheet title and the period box, so you can type Jan / Feb / Mar or Materials / Labor / Overhead once, print the stack, and fill the body in by hand. The rows themselves are deliberately not fillable — ruled paper is faster with a pen.
Use it for petty cash, job costing, rental income and expenses by property, inventory counts, club and committee accounts, mileage logs or a simple trial balance. The ruling is plain gray and prints cleanly on any home printer, and because it is a vector PDF the columns stay square however your printer handles the page. Print a stack and keep them in a folder, the way a paper pad would sit on a desk.
