Planning a wedding, a banquet or a classroom rearrangement works better on paper than in a spreadsheet, because you can see the room. This sheet is a landscape floor plan: a half-inch grid across the whole page for scale, a shaded bar across the top marked STAGE / HEAD TABLE, and numbered round tables laid out below it. Choose 8, 12 or 16 tables depending on the size of the room.

Each table is a circle with its number printed in the middle and eight small seat marks around the rim, so you can write a guest name against every chair and see at a glance which seats are still open. The event name and date are the only things you type: those two fields sit at the top of the page and can be filled in any PDF viewer before you print, which is useful when you are printing a chart for each of several events.

The half-inch grid underneath is deliberately pale. If your room is not a tidy four-by-three arrangement, ignore the printed circles and use the grid to draw the real plan — a long top table, a dance floor, a bar in the corner, rows of desks — at a scale you set yourself, for example one square to one foot. Print a fresh copy each time the plan changes; it is quicker than redoing a diagram on a screen.

Yes. There is no watermark and no sign-up for your first 20 downloads each day; after that a free account keeps downloads going. You may print the file as often as you like for personal, school or business use.
No. Only the event and date fields at the top accept typing. The tables and seats are meant to be filled in by hand, because seating changes constantly right up to the day.
Eight marks around each circle, which is the usual capacity of a 60 inch round banquet table. If you are seating ten, add two marks of your own between the printed ones.
Scale. The squares are exactly half an inch, so you can set a scale such as one square to one foot and draw the real shape of the room, the dance floor or the bar.
Yes. Treat the circles as tables or groups and write student names at the seat marks, or ignore them and draw rows of desks on the grid.
Yes. Choose A4 and the grid, the head table bar and the table circles are laid out again for the A4 landscape sheet.
