The grid is seven rows, one per day from Monday to Sunday, crossed by four columns: breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack. Each cell is about 70 points tall with a faint rule across the middle, which is enough for a dish and a note such as "defrost tonight" or "leftovers". The day names are printed, so you only fill in the food.

Beside the grid runs the part most meal planners leave out: a shopping list column with 26 checkbox lines on US Letter and 25 on A4. Plan the week in the grid, then work left to right turning meals into ingredients, and the finished sheet is both the menu on the fridge and the list you take to the shop.

Every meal cell, the shopping lines and the week-of field are fillable, so you can type the plan on a laptop and print it clean, or print the blank sheet and write on it in the kitchen. It is one landscape page, drawn separately for US Letter and A4, with thin gray rules that do not eat your ink on a weekly reprint.
