The filled chart shows every product from 1 × 1 to 12 × 12. Row and column headers are shaded so children can find a fact quickly — run a finger along the row and down the column, and the answer is where they meet. The square numbers on the diagonal are highlighted in pink, which also shows how the chart mirrors itself.
The blank multiplication chart keeps only the headers. Children fill in the grid themselves, which is one of the best ways to learn the patterns in the times tables. Each square is a form field, so the blank chart can also be completed on a tablet.
