Every face is drawn properly: a circle, the numbers one to twelve set at their exact angles, sixty minute marks with the five-minute marks drawn longer, and a dot at the centre so hands have somewhere to start. Nothing is printed inside the dial, which is the point. Draw the hands yourself and let the child read them, or write a time on the line and let the child draw the hands.

Choose four, six or nine clocks a page. Four gives large faces for a young class learning o'clock and half past, six is the everyday size, and nine suits quick practice or a times table of quarter hours. The faces scale to fill the page in each layout, so the nine-clock sheet is still big enough to draw accurate hands on.

Under each clock is a line beginning Time, which is a form field as well as a ruled line. A teacher can type the times before printing to make a reading exercise, leave them empty for a drawing exercise, or print the sheet blank and use it both ways in the same lesson. It prints cleanly in black and white on US Letter or A4.
